Our story begins in 2006, when our founder, Jinu Thomas, was desperately seeking God’s face. He was wanting a change in his life and his ambitions. God gave Jinu a dream, which he scribbled on a piece of paper; it read “create a meeting place where belief and unbelief collides in a perfect collision.” (Read more from our founder here:

Over the next seven years, God would refine, direct, teach, guide and lead Collyde to become an organization that inspires, equips and supports you to live out your calling. God brought together an amazing team of brothers and sisters to launch three entities within Collyde.

Collyde Summit is a gathering of passionate believers in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area, who love Jesus and are convicted to become world changers.

Collyde One Day is intimate, conversational & practical gathering of believers & leaders who LOVE the local church. One Day will feature insights from trusted experts, Spirit-led worship, idea-inducing Q&A, hands-on breakout sessions and networking opportunities

Inner Circle is a peer group of 12 Senior Pastors that meets with three intentional goals: personal encouragement, missional revolution and leadership development.

If you are reading this story, we urge you: join us, support us and get involved. God has a specific purpose and calling for your life. He is authoring a story in you. As you live generously and love unconditionally, God will use you to change the world. Jump In. Let’s Collyde. We believe, when we “collyde,” we can make the world a better place.

We affirm our belief in the one-eternal God, Creator and Lord of the world, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who governs all things according to the purpose of his will.

We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

We affirm that there is only one Savior, Jesus, and only one gospel, The Bible, although there is a wide diversity of evangelistic approaches.

We affirm that God is both the Creator and the Judge of all people. We therefore should share his concern for justice and reconciliation throughout human society and for the liberation of men and women from every kind of oppression.

THE HOLY SPIRIT We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Father sent his Spirit to bear witness to his Son; without his witness ours is futile. Conviction of sin, faith in Christ, new birth and Christian growth are all his work.

* We believe in a statement of faith as articulated in the Lausanne Covenant.

Knowing you aren’t alone

God’s greatest story

Jesus has risen! Jesus has conquered the grave! Jesus has OVERCOME! Happy Easter! This day is a perfect time for us as a Collyde community to reflect on the theme for the Collyde Summit 2014 and really wrestle with the weight of this three-syllabled word: OV-ER-COME. OVERCOME is a word that packs a lot of power, hope, as […]

The word “calling” is one you’ll hear pretty often in and around the church. We throw it around so much, that sometimes I wonder if it has lost it’s gusto; I wonder if the word has become so worn we hardly pay much attention to it anymore. In an article published by RELEVANT Magazine earlier this month, […]
